    Hi all.

I'm a bus driver in London, since this latest crash of the Oyster cards, all Tube and buses must take you free of charge. Even if your card says 'no money' you should be allowed free travel.

If you have a problem with your Oyster and the amount you dispute what is on there, bus drivers can also give you a print out which will show where and when you used London Transport.

To the OP. Don't wait for a response from TFL, in the meantime, go to any London underground station with your Oyster card, they will be able to sort out any credit issues you have and replace any corrupt cards.

Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.
Please do not feed the Trolls!

Get a paper ticket. For anyone who has a network railcard (anyone, any age) or someone with young persons/senior/disabled/forces railcards, you can get an all zone travelcard for £4.80 (network railcard only at weekends) - far easier than this silly touch system.
Ah yes, tis true, but unfortunately I don't have a young person's railcard, and, as I rarely use trains (only tubes) or prepay (i use student termly/monthly/weekly) i think it would b more expensive.
Though you are quite right that at least the paper based system works :)
Further to this they keep claiming i haven't replied within 48 hrs & have now marked my equiry as closed, despite me explicitly asking them to not do this. It may be as my email account is replying with a different alias than that which i first put into tfl >3 years ago. Won't let me login or change my email address either...
