What I mean is, I have an NUS student card and some websites give students 10% off, but can this be used in conjunction with quidco? Also, i've seen that some online retailers like play.com and amazon are signed up to the Nectar estores scheme - am I right in thinking you can't use Nectar and quidco at the same time? If that is the case i'll have to judge whether I get more from accessing via Quidco or Nectar.
Hi scorpio princess,
I'd be cautious about using 3rd-party voucher codes or "refer a friend" type offers in conjunction with purchases made via Quidco. This is because in order for a transaction to track via Quidco, the merchant must see the referral for that purchase as having come from Quidco.
If you use a voucher or other offer at the same time, resulting in two referrals for your purchase, the merchant will very likely decide to only pay out on one of them, and it may not be the Quidco referral. In this case, your transaction either won't track in the first place, or may track (and even validate), only to be declined by the merchant later when they "de-duplicate" the referrals.
As other folk have mentioned already, clearing cookies is also important, and for the same reason. If a competing cookie exists on your computer, the referral may go to that cookie instead of Quidco.
I hope this is of help. There is more information here.
Kind regards,
Carol

Yes, how do you clear cookies?
I have always used Rpoints as that was the first cashback site I came across and registered with. Is there much difference between them and Quidco? Rpoints don't make a charge, but then perhaps they don't have such good offers, I really don't know.
I also use Rpoints. They are better than Quidco. Quidco never answered my questions but sent me their standard script everytime !!!!!! (very annoying)
I always use Rpoints & ask them to match Quidco. They (Rpoints) will deduct £ 5.00 a year from the difference as Quidco charge £5.00 per year from the cashback. The diffence claimback is done instantly. I f you need any help in doing this, then PM me.0 -

I have been a member of quidco for nearly a year now and have received around £100 and that was for a bit of shopping, home insurance and a new tv from dixons (all of which were the best prices in the first place).
My husband is astonished by the whole set up but non the less happy when money 'for nothing' comes into our account.
If I need to buy something, I will look at Quidco first to see if the retailer is on there before buying direct.2007 Comp Wins -Haribo Sweets, John Frieda Shampoo, Pet Shop Boys Tickets.

I have been registered with Quidco for a while but only just started using it.
I have lots of things showing as tracked but only 3 showing validated. What does this mean? Does it mean that I may not get the money?
I always clear cookies before using Quidco.
Thanks in advance.0 -
Yes it works for the greater part of the time. You have to clear cookies etc if you visited the site you want to buy from before logging on to your Quidco account. Doing so ensures that Quidco properly tracks the purchase.
Sorry but I don't agree with that statement. It should but it is not certain to track.0 -
im new to quidco myself just activated my qaccoutn today but joiend last week
