Yaeh I have bought a car this way before myself you can pick up some great deals, I have bought cars that were stolen and recovered but already paid out by the insurace before aswell.

Biggest problem is you really need to know your stuff cos there could be anything wrong with it and you dont get no warranty from these type of deals.

I used to be a car mechanic so it was great for me as I knew what to look for and could even do any work that was needed myself.
