We have SOLD !!!

We have been on the market since July and we had an offer today which was 2.5k under asking - managed to nudge them up to 2k under and we are now "under offer"

So happy:j :j :j :j :j

Anyone who feels the need to remind me of the statistics of house sales falling through - please refrain;)

We were on at a realistic price and were asking 25k less than *valuation* and had spent hours researching sold prices and comparables.

Got to find a new house now though:eek:

So all those of you who have been on the market for a long time - do not despair !! Check you are realistically priced and wait.
It's not paranoia if they really are after you.

And how often does that actually happen? Not that many people feel like throwing away 5-10% of the house value + fees!

Congrats MadMonkey, over 90% of the time you have nothing to worry about so remain upbeat!
  • Hope all goes well in your sale!
