Thanks ferryenthusiast, I don't suppose you know roughly what cabins are situated where particular the 5000 numbered cabins.
The 5xxx cabins are on deck 5. Both decks 4 & 5 are all passenger cabins. Deck 6 has the shops, reception and the coffee shop along with cabins. Above this are all the restaurants, bars, cinemas etc. I cannot remember the exact number locations, though.0 -
thanks for that it sounds fine- far enough from the clubs etc..to get some sleep but not too far to stagger!!Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

oohh thats a worry! taking my 12 yr old and I think she intended to swim a lot! I s'pose a main concern is the food onboard costs etc... also when you get to spain is there a beach/shops withing walkin distance? not taking the car and don't fancy coach trips.
many thanks
the food isn't too expensive, although we only ate in the self service restaurant, so I cannot comment on the other restaurants. They had some good deals on family meals, 2 adults and 2 kids can eat for approx 15.00. If you buy meals seperately, it will cost a lot more. Also, the portions are very large. I found drinks to be really expensive though.
seven-day-weekends tip on taking a kettle is a really good idea if you are on a tight budget. A large coffee will set you back around 3.00:eek:0 -

to be honest wasn't overly impressed at the end of the day we paid silly money for 6 people to go & we all know pay peanuts, get monkeys!!! It was still cheaper than a day out at thorpe park. cabins small but served their purpose. entertainment was ok but seemed to consist of bingo & video racing but it is nearly seaon end. Pool was good but freezing!!! The cashpoint machine is no longer there but cinema was good & we got to see loads of dolphins between the waves!!! would like to go again in the summer & would probably get a better idea of what the ship is capable of. My friends and I had a good time especially after we dicovered something called a devils eye cocktail jug!!!!Duct tape is like the force. I take it you can pay for things on card on board, bit silly they do not have a cashpoint! Also, what time do the bars etc stay open until?0
