You will be a bit of a captive audience on board. We take a few sandwiches/snacks/drinks of our own, as apart from crisps, there's not many snack type things available. The meals are OK, but not particuarly cheap. Langans is nice for a treat. I think it was about £60 for two.0

I was on this ship last month and the pool was a real disappointment:( It was more like a large bath. There was supposed to be a jacuzzi, but it's not there anymore. Is there anything else you would like to know about the ship?0 -
oohh thats a worry! taking my 12 yr old and I think she intended to swim a lot! I s'pose a main concern is the food onboard costs etc... also when you get to spain is there a beach/shops withing walkin distance? not taking the car and don't fancy coach trips.

The swimming pool is certainly small and is located on Deck 2, this is underneath the Car Decks. There are some pictures on my website here (Pride of Bilbao).
The ship berths in Santurtzi which is the Port of Bilbao, I can honestly say I have never seen a beach within walking distance. There are some shops but not many, you are probably better off catching a local train from near the port into Bilbao itself. If you ask the crew I am sure they will be able to help with directions.
There are three restaurants onboard
Self Service which at first glance may seem cheaper than the alternatives but to be honest I never eat here as the quality is like any Self Service a bit hit and miss.
Then there is the Carvery, this is a fixed price menu (three course - eat as much as you like buffet) you simply pay for drinks ontop. This would be my recommended choice.
At the top end there is the West End Langans Brasserie.0 -
Thanks ferryenthusiast, I don't suppose you know roughly what cabins are situated where particular the 5000 numbered cabins.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

The ferry port is actually at Santurtzi, not Bilbao, about 15 km away. AFAIK there are only a few hours on shore.
There are bars and restaurants but I did not see much in the way of shops, neither did I see a beach.
The pride of Bilbao does do excursions to the Guggenheim Museum and other things.
The swimming pool is indoors on deck two, I don't swim so I have not been in it.
Various bars and restaurants, the food is not too badly priced in the self-service and portions are large.
We take a travel kettle, tea/coffee, drinks, snacks and sandwiches with us otherwise it can get a bit pricey. Also wine and bottle opener!(AKA HRH_MUngo)
