EBay: Any 'dodgy' places to sell to?

I have just been asked if I will ship to Lithuania
Would you?
The goods are make-up/cosmetics, not the latest, must have, high tech gizmo. I'm supposed to have my settings set to - only sell to/only display to the UK but it doesn't seem to work as I keep being asked if I will ship here there and everywhere!!!
Are there any places, (ahem, Nigeria?), that it is unwise to sell to?
Many thanks

Absolutely not, I wouldn't complete the transaction, just e-mail and tell him that you do not accept overseas sales. It simply isn't worth the hassle and make a point of mentioning in your item description - UK buyers only.
I have almost 1000 (100%) feedback and only sold one thing to an oversea customer and it caused me no end of problems."Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age. Nothing does, except wrinkles. once the cash is in my bank, then i will post anywhere.

I've sold multiple times to most of the countries in Europe, and although my items are reasonably low value and not exactly scammer magnets, the only country I have had problems with is Italy. I've stopped selling there as 9 from the last 16 packages sent there have gone missing, and not all were newbie buyers trying to pull a fast one. Their postal system is a joke.
I can not block Italy as a single state on my ebay settings, as only Europe is stated as a whole. Instead I have to immediately refund through paypal, and then explain why to the buyer. This has happened twice since christmas, and both buyers have been understanding AND told me they have found this to be the case with a lot of international sellers.
Romania is the new Nigeria by the way...<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
£100 is quite alot to send abroad, so it's really up to you to be honest, you could sent it via royal mail airsure, to make sure you have the insurance etc
Maybe in future wrote on your listing that you post to UK only, and maybe only send cheap/second hand items internationally.
I once posted something to nigeria.. it got there safe and sound too!
You lot will think I'm mad when you read this, but belive it or not it was a genuine sale.
A canadian bought a £25 item from me (retro manchester united game boy with some games) and she asked if I would please send it to her neice and nephew in nigeria (big mufc fans). I had 0 feedback at the time, as it was a few years back, so didn't know about scams. I mentioned the sale to my dad and he said, i might want to be careful and check first.
So i posted on the ebay boards about it, and they also told me to be weary, and I spoke to the seller and told her i was not happy with sending it to nigeria, and informed her that it will be at her risk. So i sent it (due to it not being a very expensive item), and 2 weeks later i got positive feedback and it arrived. With the money still happily and safely in my bank.
My point is.... not everyone is nigerian scammers!I:coffee:

What is their feedback score? Have other U.K. buyers sold to them succesfully? ASk for Bank transfer wait till money in account and send Airsure and then you should be covered.
However, my motto if in doubt send nowt!!

I've sent items to the U.S. , Canada, Australia, Brazil, Japan, Malaysia, Israel, and every country in Europe - all fairly low value and all payed for with Paypal. I have not had a single problem with any of them.0
