looking at SIM only deals for text-crazy teenagers. If (when) they break their phones, where can I get new SIM-free phones? Looking online I've only found ones with contracts - do I have to go second hand?

A lot of the PAYG phones sold by CPW are not locked to a particular network, though you do end up paying a tenner for a sim you don't really need but easy enough to use up the credit on it and swap to your own sim.0
