Samsung D500 Bluetooth Q

Hi, ive got a samsung d500 with a bluetooth headset. I just cant figure out why i cant listen to mp3s through the headset, but i can when i use the headset on other phones. Is there a function on the phone which needs to be switched on to allow this? (ive tried searching the phone and cant find anything). Does the phone not allow the this?

    i havent got one here to try but i assume your d500 is bonded with the bt headset and you have got bt switched on
    also is there a headset profile setting in the profiles (like on some nokias)
