I am an o2 pay monthly customer, about 10months in to an 18 month contract, £30 per month for 400minutes and 1000texts.
Ideally I'd love to cancel/stop the contract and take the new rolling month non-contract service with 02 which gives 600mins and unlimited texts (I think) but was wondering how I go about ending/breaking the contract and what I would be liable to pay, I assume I have to pay all the months left on the contract?
Or if I can't take this option is there any way 02 would listen to a kind of renegotiation of the contract? I need more texts but less minutes ideally?
And paying £7.50 per month for their premier insurance, I guess best to keep this as losing phone etc would be much more costly than paying this each month? any way to reduce the cost of this insurance?!
Any help much appreciated

If you were to cancel your contract you would probabaly have to pay for 8 months, which is the rest of your contract.
As for re-negotiation, it is worth a shot. Just give them a call. No harm in trying.
I would cancel the insurance ASAP. Check to make sure it is on your home cover and if it is cancel cancel cancel!
I hope this helps.0
