way to change board colours?

is there a way to change the background colours of the board for my viewing preferences? black text on white background really does not agree with me.

We don't have a skinning option at present, but black text on white is a fairly common palette for a forum. As the above poster mentions, you could always change your local pc theme settings to those of your choosing?

I would suggest that a second skin with a darker background (very much similar to the quick reply box) would be of benefit. I enjoy reading these forums and find them very education but the white tends to hurt after a while..
Not asking for anything over fancy, just an option for the more opticaly sensitive please

alas changing the theme doesn't seem to change the white background on a web page. i have tried that before, then i learnt about forum themes.
ah well just means i cant spend as long as i want to here, maybe thats a good thing lol.0 -
Download FireFox and then the install the Accessibar extension, now you can change the background and text colours to whatever you want.I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?0
