Anyone on the inside with T-mobile? (regarding Flext free weekends)

I've seen the deal - reckons it runs 17-31 Jan.

Was wondering if they're likely to extend or reintroduce weekends for the lower flext tariffs plus evenings for the higher ones?

Specifically we are about to come to the end of a 24mth contract on free eves (6pm-7am)+weekends to landlines+t-mobile but want something a little better; currently paying £15 for that and averaging max 1000 mins a month. We have a vodafone 500 plan (free with cashback) for daytime but would like to have one deal that covers everything ideally...

the voda will run out in Aug.

    Hi Sid,

you're in luck my friend. T-Mobile have & have had 2 offers first free evening and weekends and the second free evenings. Flext 35 & above for evening and weekends and the lesser tariffs for the weekends variant.

you have a couple of strategies, 1 when upgrading tell the retentions advisor, i mean upgrade agent that you have seen the web offer of weekend calling.. and would like the same. they often have a "web match offer" they say no, but be persistant, and threaten to leave. Ask them to ask their manager etc... but be nice, you would be surprised to hear just how obstructive a pi**sed of agent can be. They are only human and have obstacles in their way often preventing them from giving what you would like.

the other option. slightly more time consuming, if the retention agent won't can't web match the offer, get the best deal you can from them and then write to the "Directors office" dial 150 from your mobile for the address and use strong words (do not swear) in your e-mail/letter about how "dissatisfied" you are and that you are a loyal customer and really love T-mobile... blah blah! and want the same deal as new connection customers get as this is really unfiar. most of the time it works

    good luck!
