How to get rid of lynux and install xp

can i uninstal lynux offf pc and install windows xp. any help would be great i've no knowledge of lynux..

I understand both views. If there was more manufacturer support it'd be a lot better. I've found linux to be pretty good, easier to install and use in general etc but much more of a pain than windows if something goes wrong.
