Andrew,
I think from comments posted on the plus.net web site BB+ is limited to about 30K for torrent sites .
Thanks,

I've been with PlusNet for about 3 years (I think) first on dial up, and now on Broadband for over a year.
Have had a couple of small hiccups (when I swapped from dialup to BB) - but as they have a lo-call number (0845) have managed to sort out all OK with no hassle and even got a month sub free as it was their error.
They have won a couple of awards so they must be doing somethign right.
Happy to recommend anyone.0 -
Andrew, one good place to look at is https://www.adslguide.org for information about plus.net.0

PlusNet is definitely the best ISP that I have had any dealings with. I have been with them for 3 years and never had any problem. I have not had any downtime that I have noticed for about 2 years and even then it was only a couple of hours. If you are a big P2P user the premier package gives uncapped 2Mb for £21.99 a month. For a lighter user then £14.99 still at 2Mb will be enough (you can still P2P but it may be slowed down at busy times).
Here is the moneysaving tip though: PlusNet have a referral scheme by which you can save 50p a month for every person you recommend. If you are the technical one amongst your family and friends this can soon add up. You could with a bit of work end up having free broadband.

The link smarsden has posted is a referral that will give him the 50p if you sign up via it...0

Yes it is. If you were going to sign-up anyway why not. I did give details in the post about the referral programme. If you have a friend that is on Plusnet then get them to refer you so they benifit. If not why do you care if I get 50p off.
You should only sign up if you like the plusnet deal anyway.0 -
mclim, I have reported the referral post to Abuse who hopefully will remove this before too long.0

Referral posts should only be posted on the Referral Board.0 -

Fair point I have edited my post so it links to a thread within the refferals board. I believe this is in the rules.
New to these boards and like most people have not read the small print.0 -
I been using Plusnet until recently. Boy glad I left. Check adslguide forums people are leaving in droves. They are now manging there platform for priority for email, surfing and VoIP or so they claim. So of you use p2p you will suffer. Problem is the service they give isn't realistic for bandwidth applications, the saying goes you get what you pay for.
