Lowell - DCA - sharks, bullies... stay away! Here's my story.

Update on the hateful Lowell case.
I have received a letter from Red debt collection agency (which I learned HERE that they are also Lowell, not that they would have ever hinted at this!!!!)
The letter says "I am pleased to say that your account has been closed and your debt has been passed back to the original creditor".
WHAT A ******** *******!!! Having received COFNIRMATION from T Mobile that this is not my debt, they still write to me as if it were!! There aren't enough swearwords to express what #I feel about these disgusting lowlife creatures. Its not my debt and I don’t owe anyone anything!!! In my letter to them I told them that they shoul;d confrim that the credit file default has been deleted - they didn’t confirm. And they didn’t even acknowledge that I don’t owe that money, let alone a bloody apology, which I very much feel they owe me!!!!!!! Not even a "sorry for the inconvenience"!! Nothing! I am so upset, I don’t know if they have removed the default.
I am really upset, and am crying as I type this. Whats going on? Whya re they so awful??? What do I do now…

Soory things are crap but that is what these people are like.

Your starting point should be to report them to the Information Commissioner as they have passed false information about you.

Should I call them back andtell them that its not my debt and ask them again to confirm that the default has been removed?

the hateful lowell shower keep uping my payments by £10 despite me advising them my income has not changed. When you contact them they are so rude and intimidating, this attitude can send someone over the edge. My sons friend had a breakdown due to debtors not being helpful. I would rather do the most vile and digusting job in Britain than do that kind of work, at least it would be an honest and helpful way to earn a living. We know we messed up, we don't need lectures, we are trying to put things right.

You couldn't have said it better. It is shocking to see that companies like this treat debtors worse than the police treat criminals! So what if you owe money to someone, a person, a bank or a service provider? You will pay it back! Of course everyone who is in debt has made some stupid decisions (how many have I made!!!!) but it's just money, for god's sake.
And you are trying to put it right by paying £10 and not trying to avoid it. How much do you owe to them? Is it a big amount that they would actually take to court or a smaller one? Because I think if it’s a little amount, they wouldn’t actually pursue it further - I might be wrong here though! They keep sending me letters that say "this debt will not go away, we need you to take responsibility for it" etc etc - its so mean to say things like that even if a person does owe the money...
These people must be so bitter, so inhuman inside. I would rather clean loos than work for them. I don’t know how much they earn but surely losing their peaceful dreams is not worth it???? Hateful evil people.

Hi Deliciosa, I owe them £454, when they were sold my debt I owed about £600, so not a lot in the grand scheme of things. I owe about £7900 in all to different debtors, got it down from £15,000 over 5 years they will all just have to wait, it will get paid eventually, and this sack will be taken off my shoulders. Any decent judge would throw them out of court when he saw how commited I am to my debt payment plan, s*d them all.:p

If I am not mistaken then if you are on DMP then should shut up if you pay the agreed payment (£10) otherwise you can report them for harrassment...? But someone else might be able to tell you what exactly is the case.

It should not come to the point where you go to court with these hateful people. and well done for reducing your debt to half!!!!

What u owe them is really not a lot. How I wish you could tell them where to shove their harrassing letters....

b the way, if I send them a letter, saying something along the lines of "I dont owe you anything and you know it you !!!!!!!s, so shove your letters up your 8888" will I get into trouble??

Might make you feel better, but these people have no soul or sense of decency, and would obviously do owt for money, so would be like water of a ducks back. Hit em where it hurts through the law.:p

what kind of a person would apply to a job like this ?

i dont know what else to do, i am just afraid that once i have reported them nothing will happen and they just keep doing what they do...

to be honest i did expect at least an apology
