I've just seen an advert on TV from a company called "Kidzclaims" They want people who's children have have accidents or slips or falls to put claims in if you feel it was not their own fault. Now I'm not advocating that anyone deliberately harm kids, but come on, children fall over all the time, and its hardly ever their fault is it?. I really think that this culture has gone too far. Dont people realise that we all have to pay for these payouts? Council tax goes up, NI contributions, taxes, insurance premiums etc etc. Its got to stop somewhere hasn't it?

I saw that, I mean who would put in a claim for their kid having skinned knees?
Saying that, though, I have a cousin who fell in a shopping centre onto a metal grate thing and had the top of his finger sliced off. I could understand something like that, as that's affected him."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Ohhhh we could be in the money then!!
Daughter (she is 10) tripped over a flag in school yesterday, she has massive bruises and grazes on both knees, a HUGE purple bruise on her hip bone, grazes on her elbow, all over her ankle and her neck is still hurting her now from when she jolted it when falling.
How much do you think we are looking at??
Before you go off on one, I'm JOKING of course! She did actually do all that to herself, but it was an accident for Gods sake!!
Kids fall, trip, stumble and hurt themselves all the time....if every parent claimed each time their kid hurt themselves, where exactly would the payout money be coming from??
It's ludicrous that companies are actually advertising this!!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
My son broke his collar bone at school. Loads of mums asked if I was going to sue! It hadn't crossed my mind. He ran, he fell, he's a boy for goodness sake! By the way, he loved every minute of being centre of attention. This really is low.0

Now you mention it, I think I could sue Michael Schumacher....
DD was 2 and used to us watching F1 in our house, when Schuey won she clambered onto the sofa and decided to emulate his famed winning jump. Unfortunately she fell headlong off the sofa and landed on the only inch of stone hearth that wasn't covered up. The result was a cut to her cheek deep enough to see her cheekbone.
She's 10 now and still has a small scar. Michael wouldn't miss a few thousand would he0 -
Reminds of the episode of South Park where the kids all starting suing the school for various things. By the end the school had no money and the kids were sitting on the floor and using a rusty nail to write on the blackboard as the school couldnt afford seats or chalk !0
