When is the earliest you can upgrade ?

My 12 month contract with o2 is up on March 16th. While i was in the carphone warehouse yesterday the sales guy said I could upgrade now as i'm in my 10th month, I didn't want to do it through the CPW though as i've had bad experiences with them, is it worth giving O2 a ring ?

with o2 you can upgrade in your 11th month so you would be able to upgrade on 16th feb
do you get your bills from o2 or carphone warehouse? if it is from cpw then you may have to go with them for upgrade (there are different systems if you on o2 from

I have one contract directly through O2, I phoned them today and yes it is the 16th Feb
. The other is through O2 CPW and they shall be getting my cancellation letter in the post as soon as possible.
