Hi I'm new to both this site and Tesco on-line shopping and would appreciate some help - just sorted out banking codes I think but have a question about expiry dates. I have had no luck this week with discount codes but wondered about expiry dates. Do expiry dates apply to delivery date or when you process your order? This week - shopped on 3rd with delivery for the 6th but no codes which expired on the 5th work. Would codes starting on the 6th possibly have worked?

I have had a quick look and have seen that you cannot apply codes after you check-out without cancelling your order and re-ordering - is this still the case?

ps hope I am in the right place for this question but be gentle if I am not as I am new to this site and it has sooooo many posts/threads that it can be quite difficult to navigate for a newbie especially one who doesn't spend much time on the computer as I can never get near it! Thanks
hi lollipoplady, welcome to the forum, the expiry date goes on the delivery date and not when it is ordered, also once you have checked out you can go back and change you're order or delivery, but you cannot add any more codes, hope this helps

I have been told by someone today if I change my bt landline to tesco landline I would get 1000 points. I have been on tesco website and cant find anything that confirms it. Has anyone else heard this and where will i find it on the website. Also it says you 1 point for every pound you spend does that mean for calls only or for rental as well???

    thanks

My wife went in yesterday and they said they had changed it to 3 in our store (but they took 4!!!). She said the manager was hanging around and told her that it's because people were coming in with handfuls of coupons, he quoted one where a woman had paid for her shop with £72 worth. It looks like the greedy few have spoilt it for the many. The most I've had is £10 and that was only because of the £6 Airwick (sadly gone). Saying that though the SA asked my wife where she got the coupons from and wrote down the web address with glee.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Now I think I am "au fait" with clubcard stuff but what and where do the coupons come from?

  • Hi,

I wish to order some wine to take advantage of the free delivery.

Does anyone know if I an use 'Double Up' clubcard vouchers AS WELL AS the 750 points for wine over £50 spend.

    Thanks

    Hi Northerngeezer,

Double up vouchers do not start with XX so you can use these with an XX code.

I managed to use my Double up vouchers together with an XX code for triple points last week. It refused a lot of the XX codes saying that the campaign had ended, so make sure you have a good list from the codes thread.
