First of all sorry if i am posting in the wrong place, i am still getting used to the site. I have been reading about tesco clubpoints and how i can use them against a holiday or something so have decided to ditch asda and go to tesco and see what i can earn in points. I have just received my clubcard but can you tell me what is the best way to get points should i do my shopping online and key in codes what the nice people on here give like the one above re 1000 points or should i go shop instore are there specials in there that will get me extra points. do they have free delivery codes for tesco? Sorry if it all seems a bit silly but I have never shopped at tesco before0

Hope you haven't been sitting there all this time with your fingers crossed! :rotfl:
It's the surname only that is printed.
Floxxie
P.S. If for any reason things change and you can't use them, your mum can return them for a 'refund'.
i've just uncrossed my fingers!

I also shop in store if I have a load of money off coupons - my last shop was for £9 and I got £6 off using Pedigree, Mitchum, etc. internet coupons - (see other threads for these) plus a load of extra points that I couldn't use on-line. Sometimes it is worth doing what I call a POINTS shop where I specifically go in to use all the points coupons I have. It is worth checking for the ones that say for example 25points for ANY vegetables or whatever - go in, buy the cheapest veg you can find under £1 and it's free if you convert the 25 points into £1 of Deals.
Don't be afraid to hand over the coupons, the Sales Assistants do seem to be better briefed now and just tell you what they can and can't accept.
Good luck.If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat0 -
Can anyone help me here - earlier today, I booked a Tesco delivery, partially completed, so that I could keep the slot I wanted, and do the rest of my shop later at work.
It's just occurred to me, as I've tried to go back in to the order, that I can't checkout again, and add any codes on for discounts - is that right?
Thanks! If you have good thoughts, they'll shine out of your face like sunbeams & you'll always look lovely.0 -
I hope someone can help me:
I've just started collecting points, and did my first shop online with tesco a few minutes ago. I tried to use a £12 off voucher AND a 1000 point voucher. One voucher began with XX and the other was something like GPCHJ79VD42H for 1000 points.
Tesco would only let me use 1 voucher - so I used the £12.00 off.
My questions:
1) Can you use 2 vouchers in one shop?
2) I was expecting all of my BoGofs to come off the price of the shopping when I placed my order, but when I confirmed my card number there was no indication of any discounts whatsoever, except for some green points I got for saying I don't want bags. Will my bill be adjusted?
Thanks0 -
Your discounts will be deducted & you won't be charged for them, don't worry. Your delivery driver will hand you a copy of the itemised receipt when he drops off your shopping & the correct amount will be on there.
Re your codes, the 1000pt one will be available for you next time you shop -a lot of them are triggered by a £50 minimum spend and its unlikely that you'll be able to use two juicy codes together....but good for you for trying anyway!
:T0 -
My total spend was about £87 (£93 including delivery).
The next time I do a shop, will the 1000 pt automatically be added if I spend over £50? Would there be an expiry date? Sorry to be so thick0 -
Do Tesco do any codes for their entertainment site, have used grocery codes and direct ones but not sure about this part of the their site.0

The system won't let 2 codes such as money off and points to be used at the same time. Your discounts will show when the delivery driver gives you the receipt0
