    A couple of dumb questions:

what happens to the points you have been awarded if you take a item back.

I haven't got a real baby (mine is 21) can I use the coupons in the baby mailing ie by buying the nappies to claim baby beginnings basket and take both back to get a refund?

I have several mailings and want to capitalise to gain extra points

Any one got any experience of doing this and keeping points?

I don't think they are dumb questions - but just learning!!!

Essentially it is up to who is on Customer Servies if they refund the item but leave the points. This does happen but it is very advisable not to do it... or certainly not more than once. As your balance increases it is generally the people on CS who notice high totals and it is through them that there have been accounts investigated and points removed :o

You are best buying items to use as many coupons as possible... and always use your points for deals NOT instore

    Enjoy :D

You should be fine: My Tesco is small, they only sell socks and a bit of underwear and when I've had a several till spits offering extra points for clothing, I've bought and returned the items if I didn't want them anyway.
And when I've returned other stuff (CD's / DVDS for example) they've never mentioned point deduction; probably too much aggro or maybe till simply not able to perform this transaction
  • can someone help me...i have just had photos developed at Tesco and used the 200 points vouchers i had..i got 2 till spits ( did 2 transactions) ..these bonus points 300 if spend £15 on photo processing expire 10/10/08...am i able to offer them here for free? I will not use them and i am not into selling on e-bay. Thanks for help.

About to spend over £150 on Sat Nav from Tesco Direct but have never used discount codes before. How do I find out if there is anything I can use to bring the cost down or get more points?

I've tried lots of codes for Tesco Direct and none seem to be working, does anyone know of one that works or if it's because I'm buying a dishwasher??

Any help much appreciated as I have a whole kitchen to fit out! (After last years floods...unfortunately not an upgrade!)

    Cheers!

I am so mad at Tescoicon_mad.gif

Brought my order tonight which basically consisted of 6 lots of beer as per the 2 for £16 promotion and they were charged at full price. I phoned while driver waited and was told that there was no such offer on their website, so I sent the whole lot back to the store.

Phoned again and spoke to another person who said the same thing and also added that they hadn't been running any beer promotions for over a week. I said "oh so you think I am lying then" and he got all defensive. That offer was DEFINITELY on their website yesterday and that is why I placed the order for delivery tonight because the offer was finishing. I am totally pi**ed off with Tesco for implying very strongly that I am delusional and imagined the whole thing. Trouble is that when you get your order confirmation email it doesn't show these promotions, says that will be deducted when items are delivered.

Now I can't even find an email address for their customer services - does anyone know it???

    Many thanks.

They withdrew that offer quickly on monday then put it back on the web last night as 3 for £20.It was there until lunchtime today but has now gone again.Meanwhile a store I visted today had the banner up in the car park but on checking out I was charged full price.Pointed out car park banner which was then being taken down so manager honoured offer. What are they playing at?
