I waited with baited breath for a lovely 1000 point code in my HL mailing and never got one so I thought well maybe I will get one with my deals mailing, but no I get a 250 pointer instead, so I am off to shop somewhere else until they send me one but will not hold my breath!!!! I am only going to spend mailing vouchers now.Comp wins 2013:160 finish quantum tabs, 2xtickets private screening of prisoners(Jake n Hugh 2)

Hi
I'm just about to do a Tesco shop (first time) using the code XXPD96 for £10 off £50 shop. I'm new to this and didn't want to get it wrong, so far my shopping comes to £56.96 with multisaves of £7.69. This will bring it slightly below £50.00 when the multisaves haveb een taken off, i can easily add something else to make it still over £50 but what i'm worried about is if they don't have something and it takes it below the £50.00 how will the offer work then? Sorry to ramble just not done this before and don't want it to end up costing more than it would if i just went shopping as delivery is costing £5.00.
Thanks in advance0 -
Hi there MSE's and TCCVS's (Tesco Club Card Voucher Spenders?)
Not sure if this is common knowledge or if what I achieved was "allowed", strikes me as I might have got lucky with a helpful/naive callcentre girl.
Phoned TCC the other day as found I had some vouchers that had expired (yes I really have been keeping them that long to wait for a good deal to spend them on!) and thought I might as well ask "if there was anything they could do". As it was nearly £15 worth, thought it was worth the ask.
Well, she said "yes, no problem". Then I asked "I don't suppose there's any others on my account out of date that you could help me with are there?" and she found another £10 that I didn't even know about. So long story short: nearly £100 worth of CC deals coming my way in my next statement just for asking!
Wowsers!
Stripee
Let me know if anyone else already knew that or has any luck, (especially as i saw a post saying the statements are being sent out soon)
The OH was tols today he could only replace cards expiring 11/07 the ones from 08/07 were too old.0 -
I used a code from this forum to get 1000 free points on an order I placed on Thursday... when the order arrived the receipt that came with said I got 1060 points...
I have looked on the Tesco site on Friday and Sat and rather than show a points value it just days 'Sorry, it is not possible to provide your points balance at this time. Please try again later.'
Have they canned my account for using the voucher or something or is this normal? I have never noticed this before so am a little suspicious!
thanks

Similar thing - my points were frozen (points weren't added after shopping) and I called to enquire. Tesco were having problems with updating points in their system so I wouldn't worry about it. Try again next week. You can always ring Tesco CS and they will have a record of your order.0 -
Can anyone help? My mother wants to give me her extra point coupons she got with her mailing, ( 50pts when purchase milk etc ) will i be able to use them instore? I have just looked at mine and they have your name and clubcard number on them ...does anyone know the answer before i make a fool of myself at the till. Thanks0

We have booked several holidays with Haven over the last couple of years with our points, and you always pay the full price, ie no discount for booking early not eligible for special offers etc. We didn't mind because we weren't spending cash.
BUT
We've booked up a 4 day break at Pontins in October; GOT THE LOT!!
Free child places and discount for early booking. We have got the best apartment, so linen and electricity thrown in.
Going half board, in a 4-bedroomed apartment ( 2 apartments joined up), less than £600 in real money = £145 in tesco vouchers for 5 of us!
Better than a Sun Holiday!!!!!!!
But I bet they soon cop on (it's their first year with tesco) so if you want a very cheap hol, book before end of the week.
(They'll even hold your booking for you while you get your vouchers sorted out)0
