I've stopped buying bread from tesco for that reason. Quite often I was getting bread delivered with that days date on it. Unnacceptable in my book.

If anyone's having problems getting codes accepted, simply open a new account. I just did, and the XX-KG32 £10 off £50 code worked fine.

if you do get something with a very short date on it, give them a ring, i've done it a few times and they have always given me my money back

With Tesco yu may have ticked the acessibility option - if you untick this by logging into "my Account" on Tesco then under account details - accessibility options untick "use access site". This should then resolve problem, I did this the other day when I signed my son up.
