the problem with asda, when i used to shop with them ,is that the things they replace out of stock items with is just a bit weird.:D
i also find their site not as easy.

but next week it will be an asda shop for me,i am fed up of wasting my time looking for codes.

Do they let you refuse the substituted items if you really don't want to when they are delivered?
    Thanx

    Hi

I'm new to this forum, just joined up today so that I can tell you that
I had this problem too but managed to use the xx8tww code (£5 off). Most frustrating!

XX8TWW just worked for me in the last 5 mins. Thanks for this

Bizarre. It didn't work for me! I did exactly the same online shop at Waitrose to find out the price difference and it wasn't much more expensive (some of the special offers are exactly the same, to the penny as Tesco), plus they have released a £10 voucher (deliver10) if anyone is thinking of looking elsewhere. I love Waitrose and from now on i am sticking with them.
  • The tesco christmas bonanza with 500 points... from the 30 selected items

I can only find 12. Where are the rest???

I haven't managed to get any Tesco codes to work for ages, Asda started deliveries here a couple of weeks ago so I tried them in protest and it was fine, apart fro it being the first shop so having to navigate that website took a while. Next time it will be quicker and Tesco can go whistle. They expect us to be loyal then get all 'tight' on us.

Thanks for ther offer famous.last.words, but I am worried that the cheeses & caked may have short dates on & not be ok for Xmas. I alwasy find that with the mince pies. I buy the ones on offer & they go aout of date on Xmas eve!! Thats the trouble with shopping online you can't see the dates.
  • My first ever post so please be kind

Because I try to buy supermarket bands I couldn't compare baskets accurately using mysupermarket so have painstakingly done my weekly shop at both tesco and asda online. Having put 55 items in each basket the difference was a mere £1.11 (in favour of Asda).

So thanks for the codes above - the tesco ones no longer work (been used the maximum number of times) but the asda free delivery did so thanks Lady_K
