Do what I always do - drive to a tube station close to Heathrow ..let's say Boston Manor,Osterley or Hounslow and find a quiet suburban street with no parking restrictions ( normally within a five minute walk of the station )
Park your car and Bob's your Uncle ... all you pay is the Tube Fare.
The times you're flying means you're gonna avoid the worst of the rush hour and don't worry ...it's London and most people don't even know their own neighbours so they're not going to notice a car.
Fantastic! Just leave your car outside somebody else's house for a fortnight, that'll be fine.

    And why not ?
You've paid exactly the same amount of road tax as they have so you're entitled to park anywhere on a road without parking restrictions.
And who knows - if they live that close to a tube station in London they probably don't need a car.
They don't own that piece of road any more than you do.
    Doh !

Have a look around Hounslow West ... give yourself about a 5-10 minute walk to the station and you'll be fine.
No you don't need an Oyster card - its 4 quid for the journey.
Good luck and choose a nice friendly street.
