Thanks for this. Please can you say where the advert was placed?"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
Of course, it was in a PM to me (and I imagine very many others) on another website I use which is seriously food orientated.
My opening post is a copy of the full PM.
Not sure if I am allowed to name/link the other website but if not I will be happy to PM details to anyone who wants them.0 -
As long as there's no personal gain or profit involved I don't see why not.
As for biscuits in microwaves - I'll take a look after I've had chance to look through the board and also see what kind of mess is left in the MEGA thread when the power hit right in the middle of things.
There's no way C_Q and I could do the tv cooks thing... we'd be fighting over who gets to pour the home made curry powder into the sauce :rotfl:Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. OK - I'm up for it. I'll add it in to my mini shopping list when I go up to the co-op for milk. I'm collecting the stamps to get an assortment of pyrex dishes at three quid off each (one was my first bit of pin money for this month) and, using my mobile as a calculator, challenge myself to go just over the £5.00 mark to qualify for a stamp and not "waste" any money.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. You can make microwave cakes - and they warn that if you cook them for too long you end up with a giant biscuit! :jI often make sponge puds and suet puds in the microwave. Haven't had big biscuits for a long time.
I've learned that the leftovers can go all biscuity in the fridge and that this is a sign that they are very slightly overcooked. It's not a problem because warming them up next day in the microwave softens them up again.
Then, next time I make that kind, I take ten seconds off the cooking time.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Thank you Squeaky, the site is Chocolate and Zucchini and I'm sure some of you will already know it. I have no connection with the site other than drooling over it more often than I should :o
As for Curry Queen and Squeaky as TV cooks, food and humour, what more can we ask for.0
