I applied recently to &more - they only gave me a £2k limit so i told them to place their card where the sun don't shine and have gone to virgin instead.0

It may be small, but you've already had a credit search done I suspect. It's for 9 months and there is no fee. As I see it, every little helps, but then I may have made some wrong assumptions on your behalf.0 -
well i phoned up this afternoon, got through quickly to a helpful indian chap who after 10 mins increased by credit limit by £1k as i said i did'nt want to activate the card unless the credit limit was upped, very pleased with service so far.0

WARNING to those who took up the repeat 0% offers. I have just had my first statement since the balance transfer and they have charged me 9.9%.
I have just been on the phone to dispute this and they denied offering me 0%
They were unable to transfer me to another department to try and resolve this and I have to call them back tomorrow morning. I told them I will pay the balance off and close the account if I do not get a satisfactory result.Charles J0 -
Further to my last post I have just realised that I am now over my credit limit by the interest charged because I transferred my full credit limit. Surely they would not have let me transfer my full credit limit if the offer was not interest free. I think I will be having an interesting telephone conversation with someone in Chester tomorrow morning.Charles J0

Better check up on your Ts and Cs very carefully tonight before you ring tomorrow!0

I have been over my limit twice with this card and not been charged an overlimit fee. The only card not to do that. I don't know if this is still the case though. This was over a year ago. I just got told to make a payment immediately.
I don't know how long it takes for switch payments to go through as I have never made one with this card but if you pay in cash on a working day, it gets credited to your account on the next working day, ie, if you paid in cash on a Tues, it would be credited to your account on the Wed.0 -
Just had a call back from helpful chap at M&S who has listened to the recording of my balance transfer call and confirmed that I was offered 0%.They are refunding interest and sorting things out for the next statement.Charles J0
