Avoiding 08xx costs in contracts

Most pay monthly contracts offer 'inclusive' minutes, often to any mobile network as part of the monthly fee.

However, it appears that calls to 0870 and 0845 numbers aren't included as part of the deal, and given that is what many of my calls will be made to means the 'deal' isn't that great. It is not feasible for me to make these calls from a landline.

Is there anyway of accessing these 08xx numbers without paying an additional fee? Possibly dialling a mobile number that then transfers you to the 08xx number in question and thus coming under the "anytime any network" offer?

Thanks a lot,

SS

The only network that includes 0500/0800/0808/ 0844/0845/0870 numbers in there inclusive minutes is O2. So if you need to phone them they would be your best bet.

You can often find alternative geographical numbers to 0845/0870 on the useful site https://www.saynoto0870.com

Two dial through service providers numbers also should allow you to call 0845/0870 numbers they are
    Simply-Fone 07744 97 3333.
    Metelecoms 07744 97 4479.
These 07744 calls are only included in O2 & T-Mob inclusive minutes.

0800 / 0808 / 0500 are free on Orange contract tariffs (unless they are to a known calling card company).

Also some old (now ring fenced) Orange tariffs have 0845 / 0870 numbers which can be used as part of the inclusive minutes.

I've been using one of those s-f''s numbers [but only from O2 & T-mobile] ie:
    07744 974 363

taken from their website: simply-fone.com following are possible as 'free' calls at anytime 24/7

    UK (01&02)
    UK (020)
    UK 0845 (Local)
    UK 0870 (National)
    UK MOBILE O2
    UK MOBILE ORANGE

Access to 0845 does not appear to work on either of the 07744 access numbers Simply- Fone or Metelecoms. 0870 is ok
