Am totally confused now what to do so hope its ok to ask here for advice.

    Basically my son needs:

    Broadband
To be able to make unlimited calls during the day.
    TV is not an essential.

There is a BT land line to the house and Virgin are installed

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

    Thanks

So he is looking for a phone line, a 24/7 geographical call package, and broadband for his sole use, preferably a bundle deal, am i correct?

Hope I'm ok to post this here.

I have just spoke to Virgin media about the package I am on as I'm paying more than I'd like to be:

    Telephone line rental £11.00
    Talk anywhere 800 £29.00
    TV size L £11.50
    Broadband size M £18.00
Phone, TV & BB Bundle saving -£10.50

In total I pay £59.00 + VAT which is more than I'd like to pay. I do usually use 800 minutes per month so this is why the talk anywhere package was recommended to me.
Anyway, I've been told basically that there is no better deal that I could be on. Would you agree/disagree???

I signed up yesterday and got it, getting installed tues, I have been with the for broadband just over a year and the offer was written on the bottom of my bill. You have to be on DD and get an ebill or pay £1 per month for a paper copy. You get free weekend calls but he gave me free evening calls for six month but said I must remember to call up and cancel it or I start getting charged £3.40 month for them. I just popped it in my diary.

If you phone back in 6 months, you should get the inclusive evening and weekend calls kept at no additional cost, if you get to speak to the right people and mention that Sky, BT and Primus all offer evening and weekend calls at no extra cost.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
