MBNA card(s) Credit Limit

Just wanted to know what sort of credit limit other people get from MBNA cards? I have got two MBNA cards a Liverpool Football club (£12000) and a Thomas Cook (£1600). I earn about £23500 a year.
I am going to shut the Liverpool card down in a few days when my balance transfer goes through and clears the debt but when i shut it i'll transfer the credit limit onto the Thomas Cook card. Once its shut i'll then apply for a Virgin card (and if am accepted) i'll pile the credit limt onto the Virgin card and do a SBT to add to the £15000 stooze pot i've already got, but what I really want in MBNA to give me a nice credit limit rise upto about £20000, am I expecting to much?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

In my experience you will be refused the Virgin card as they already have a large exposure against you. I have an MBNA card £13K limit, £5 (yes £5) outstanding, and ready to close. I applied for a Virgin card 2 weeks ago and was rejected.Ethical moneysaver0
