T-Mobile PayG Rates Halved without Notice
To my delight, for my 2 PayG phones on (Mates Rates tariff) I noticed that I am charged half the normal rates since mid January.
I thought I read somewhere that if you stay for over 18 month with no "upgrades" that this may happen but I can find no references to such a deal anywhere on the internet. I have been with T-Mobile (as a very light user) for over 18 month now.
Has anyone else had similar experiences to this?
Cheers from Mike :j

They increased their rate from 5p a minute to 8p a minute on the 30/7/2007.
Are you saying you are now paying 4p a minute.0 -
If you spend a certain amount on PAYG, I think it is £50 over 90 days, you get a percentage back as a free credit. The TMob website is down at the moment so cannot give exact figures.0

Yes - and I barely spend £10 over 90 days0 -
bizzare! there is a promtion where you get 20% of your topup back now accruing over a 90 period... if your call charges half reduced .... say nothing!
there are 3 price plans
Mates rates, best for friends and family on TMobile
New PAYG Everyone flat rate for cross network and landlines
Text appeal 3 p per txt to any uk network0 -
OK - since 25th Jan my call charges reverted from 1/2 price to normal rate0

it could be potentially an error on their billing system, it happens. It works in your favour as they won't charge you, if it was an overcharge you would have been compensated.0

if your price plan charges have reverted then you may find that some of your topup could be placed into "reserved fund" status. This means that if you were incorrectly undercharged the billing matrix will identify you and any other customers and retrieve the funds at a later date-normally when there are funds available.0
