Please help Am silver surfer. When i try to connect to Explorer after reading my mail it always comes up page cant be shewn cant find server. I then have to turn comp off and start again every time
Have recently had comp. checked thoroughly and is OK. Any suggestions.?
All this since starting Broadband B/T.

What happens when you open Internet Explorer first and then read your mail (I assume you use outlook express)?
Sounds like outlook disconnects your connection somehow, I think there might be a setting for it but I'm not sure where...No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -

In the advanced settings of your dial-up networking connectoid there's usually a checkbox "disconnect when the connection may no longer be needed" - make sure that's unchecked and it shouldn't tear down the connection.There are 10 types of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't

Honeymonster thank you for reply. not being technical minded will have to wait until friend comes to do as you suggest but will certainly try. as am getting really Fed up with having to keep closing down and re connecting. Smiler0
