There is a london one already being arranged - there's a thread on it somewhere. I think it's on 13 April (not 100% sure though) and the idea is to meet in Leicester Square.

There are backpacker hostels in London that are probably fairly cheap.

Does anyone know how to search for the thread?

Thanks Sea, I thought there was, not sure it has it's own thread, I'm pretty sure it's only been mentioned on other threads

    Hey; I'm voting for Scotland.
Would love to meet some of you!

I'm fine anywhere in Scotland at all; I live in the middle.

gem that is a very valid point. I would have started a poll but wanted everyones feelings on it? I guess a southern meet (ie london) would be the most sensible thing to do as both meets so far has been northern,

    Birmingham wasn't north...

I'm sure there is a London meet somewhere...

If we were having it in Scotland then i would have to come, so would probably just drive and maybe bring DD as well.....

I'm Aberdeenshire so can't really suggest on places we would be able to meet/things to do etc. it would make sense to make it Glasgow or Edinburgh for transport links....

    Summertime sounds good!

I'd be up for Glasgow or Sheffield. Edinburgh would be verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry dear, I can't fly from Bournemouth to Edinburgh, Glasgow would be perfect though cost wise!!!

I'm not a big fan of London even though it's a lot nearer and cheaper to get to. I think Cornwall would be a bit of a !!!!!! for most people to get to, the roads start getting clogged as the weather gets better and motorways are non-existent.

I'm surprised nobody ever suggests Manchester, good connections across the country and lots of cheap bars and a good selection of hotels.

Is the London one happening?? Not seen anything definite on it for ages, the last I saw was whether to go on Marathon weekend (which would be a nightmare!!!! Very expensive hotels and lots of very busy roads and transport generally)

I think this is the one.

Looks like being Leicester Square, 5th April. 13th was suggested but that's the day of the marathon so not good for accommodation
