PaP, no, you don't need a passport, but you need your driving licence with your photo on it instead. Bit mad really that ID is needed to fly within the UK!

Because it's all in the name of security, like not being allowed liquids - and equally as poorly thought out.

yeah the weather is getting a bit much isnt it love scotland but they weather arggghhhh ...have decided im doing the west highland way next year and two things decided when we do it a) the weather (not guaranteed but rough guide) and the most important thing b) those wee beastie midges ohhhhh i cant stand them but then they are dependant on the weather so basically it's the weather

Errrrr....mind if I join you? I haven't actually been invited to any "meets", so was just wondering what you have to do to "qualify". I keep looking to see if I have been upgraded from a moneysaving "stalwart" to a "fervent" to see if that prompts inclusion in this very exclusive, may I say, possey?

Just a thought, but Liverpool is the European capital of culture this year with loads of events on a dirt cheap accomodation all over the city, and very central, almost in the middle of the UK in fact?

hey miss k, i dont thionk you need to qualify, anyones welcome. I think the london one is still happening if you find that thread. I think we are all deciding on the next one. I am hoping to get the time off to go to the london one ~ fingers crossed :rotfl:
