DialAPhone Free Refurb 3310i, 18mth Line Rental Free - Any good ?

I've been looking at the dialaphone site and they have a refurb 3310i with vodafone, 250texts, 1000 off peak vodafone/uk fixed line minutes for £16 a month, but they are giving 18mth line rental cashback.

I also get £40 cashback apparantly under their benefits scheme which my company has signed up for, which Im unsure if is included or in addition to the £10 online cashback. So effectively, I will be paid between £10 and £50 to take the phone away. Im dithering as I dont really need a new phone and dont like the 18mth commitment and have a (now dying) 3310i already but am tempted by the texts...

I TOOK OUT a 12 month free line rental dialaphone and cashback to vodaphone contract. Vodaphoen are denying ever receving the £105 back friom dialaphone and hence have not paid it back to me!!! ive asked them to sort it on say 10 different phone calls to them but htey have not! its been owed since april!!!!!! I called dialaphone they have proof that they sent it!

Why not get a better phone ?

The 6230i aint a bad phone, here is a deal with 2,000 off peak minutes 200 texts , the phone is free, 12 month contract at £20 per month but for 7 months it is half price (£10)

Well... I dont really use my phone for anything else, so all that bluetooth, java games, mp3 malarky seems a little over-rated to me. I just want long battery life and soft buttons for texting, good reception for the occasional call and to pay as little as I can get away with. If the dialaphone free life of contract is that much hassle, I'll pass

well ive emailed vodaphone again this mornign as im sick of callingbeign transferred expl the story 10 times and then beign told oh well wait for dialaphone to give us the money- ive threated them so i will see what happends.....also i found that their staff all tell diff stories i dont htink they know what they are doing- if it gets resolved i will say so on this thread so that the warning can come off btu in future im goign to be wary of cashback deals that involve two dealers as opposed to coming straigh back to me- this has been a load of bull !!!!e and ive never had so much probs as this in my life! (and ive been dealing with free rentals for 6 years)

Its a shame, cos it would have been brilliant for me to make £50 off the deal! Will see how you get on. Im not impatient and my text bills have dropped off slightly as he's on holiday in the states lol

to be honest theres always 12 months free line rentals that keep coming up- there is a current one with 100 free mins + 100 texts if ur interested with a reputable company- i have 15 mobile contracts all 12 months free line rental all ending at different parts of the year as they come up every couple of months

I spotted the Dialaphone offer as well and thought it might be too good to be true. Who else does similar deals? I've never spotted any before. And does anybody except Dialaphone offer contracts to people who only have Solo cards?
