Accidentally deleted SMS

While deleting "Message delivered" texts, I also wiped an important one. I can't ask the person concerned to resend it, but I really don't want to have lost it!
I know you can get devices to restore texts, but they're expensive and I really can't justify it. Does anyone know if CarphoneWarehouse / Vodafone / other offer a retrieval service?

Afternoon Mel,
I can understand how frustrating it must be to lose texts that are important to you.
Vodafone don't offer a service that restores texts as we don't hold the content of the messages.
