Dubai :- Would 4 days be enough

4 days should be sufficient if it's just the two of you. My husband and I were in Dubai for 4 days just before Xmas 2004 and we managed to do a fair bit. We managed to book a taxi driver for a day to show us the sights in and around Dubai, and we walked to many other places. We stayed at the Landmark Plaza hotel in Al Nasser square as that was so central.

All the malls are good in their own way. City Centre (near jumeirah I think!) was the most bustling.

Wafi Mall was really good too, it's amazing how it's so original and different in it's construction.

All the local shops in the heart of Dubai are really interesting.....and individual in their own way.

In terms of spending money, I'd take around £1000 and then take a credit card in case of emergencies.

Just be careful that the hotel isn't near the Golden Sands on the outskirts of the city as it'll cost you a firtune in getting around as most trips you'll need to come back into the centre for.
