Also was annoyed as finally found the Dettol Click TMF, only to discover that it closed 30 June.

And re: Phostrogen, that's what I told them, that I haven't seen any results as it's been less than 2 weeks! If they want to make up stupid rules, they better be ready for stupid replies. :D

Really !!!!!! off this week - I got Dr Beckerman's Rescue Oven TMF returned cos I wrote 12 words instead of 15 (my fault I know) so I wrote them an 81 word essay about why I didn't like the product. This morning I got the Heineken TMF returned cos there was no valid date on the receipt !! I sent a standard Tesco receipt with the date and time on the bottom of the receipt - so suggest if anyone else is doing the Heineken TMF that you highlight the date as well as the product. So infuriating........

Congratulations to LilacLillie for finding the postal orders - I can really imagine how annoyed you were when you thought you'd lost them. Hope next week is an improvement for you and you get some good luck now.

Testee, I had one TMF returned as I had only written 14 words instead of 15. Again, my mistake. I returned it with the extra word and got my cheque through.

I now make sure I do at least 20 words so no room for doubt.

I am new to TMF, but am keen to get down to tesco tomorrow to get started.

I have a question - If you buy more than one at a time - do you get separate receipts?

I have run out of addresses to use for the Bordeaux offer and have a spare bottle collar available, it can be used for a refund of up to £10 on any bottle of Bordeaux when sent in with the till receipt and reason why you did not enjoy it ;)
I will send it to the first person to IM me with their name address.

I found a bottle of the white in Tesco today. It had a big floppy sign springing out of it saying 'TMF'.
Made sure to put it through on a seperate reciept (also bought the 'Highland Spring' 12 bottles of water £2.35), hubby put it in the bag, on its own, got to the car, took it out of the trolley........................................And it fell through the bottom of the carrier bag, and smashed on the floor!
I went back in to complain, but they had a massive queue, so hubby complained at me, saying he wasn't going to hang about.
That keeps happening with their rubbish carrier bags, its the 2nd time. Last time it was on a delivery with my eggs. The driver refunded the money straight away and left me to clear up the mess.
I really fancied trying it as well :(

Just called Tesco CS, not expecting a result, but needing to grumble (0800 number!).
The lady was very nice and said they've changed their carrier bags to Bio-degradable (? spelling!) and Yes they've had other complaints.
I said I'm all for eco, but they shouldn't degrade before you actually get them home!
So she's putting some gift vouchers in the post today and logging the complaint about the bags with the other's.

Yes. You will need a seperate receipt for each TMF claim. :)

Um, you only send back the actual handle, which shouldn't have any hair on it. There's nowhere for hair to clog on it! You don't send back the top part of the razor (where the blades and the shaving-foam-block-thing are).

Do you have an address for this one? I bought this razor and am not impressed with it, so want to send it back anyway.

Could you pm or post the address to send it to (just the razor handle and receipt, yes?)? The collar advertising the TMF in Boots is sealed and I don't fancy depriving another customer by ripping it off for personal gain:rolleyes:

Found a new TMF on Highland Spring still water, 12 x 330ml "for kids" multipack. Have seen it in Tescos and Sainsburys. Send an (unspecified) "part" of the promotional packaging, your TR, an SAE, and at least 15 words about what you thought of the product. Apply within 14 days of purchase, final cd is 30.11.05. Handling house is MKM, max refund is £3.15.

Just found this site today and am slowly working through all the posts; I see that there has been some discussion about having to send up stamps to MKM (especially!), and postage not being refunded generally! For anyone interested, the industry code of practice states that for an offer to be described as "free", a consumer must be asked to pay no more than the current public rate of postage to respond to the offer, plus the true cost of delivery (no charge must be made for packing, handling or administration). So unless anyone wants to be particularly pedantic and argue that the need for us to send an envelope as well as a stamp for the return of cheques constitutes a contribution to their "packing" charge, MKM (and others) are just about within the rules. But I'm sure they realise that, which is presumably why they do it!!
