Kronenborg 1664 Premier Cru premium lager 500ml bottle found in Asda today at £1.99.

It wasn't until I got it home though that I realised this one is not exactly a try me free. You send in till receipt, neck label  and name and address and you don't get your money back instead you get a voucher for another bottle? Still worth a try I suppose.

You also get entered in a draw for a holiday in Paris.
And the good news is, there is no limit on the number of times you can claim!

I noticed in the T&Cs on the paper collar that there was no mention of a limit of one per household, or even per individual. So I phoned the promoter, Scottish Courage (0131 528 1000) today and they confirmed that you can claim the voucher and enter the competition as many times as you like. (Or as many times as you can find a bottle with the promotional collar, as you do need this with your receipt.)

And it can be Try Me Free, if you take your voucher to Asda or another store that accepts vouchers without you having to buy the product.

    Hoorah!

Having said that, I haven't tried mine yet. I might hate it. Still, a free beer is a free beer, (less the cost of your stamp, of course).

I think it's the usual 28 days thing.  If they've had a big response I guess it could be longer.  Hang in there.  I'll cross my fingers mine don't take that long.  I sent them off today.

I've started a list, stating what date I sent off for which refund.  That way I can keep a track of anything that needs chasing up.  Pity I didn't think to note down how long each one is supposed to take, though!  ::)

I sent one application off for this and have received my second refund cheque today, i'm still not sure if it was worth it ;D

Well, I still haven't received my refund for the Eisberg Non Alcoholic Chardonnay. If it was over not signing it (it certainly wasn't stated clearly) then I don't understand them from a PR point of view. Even if I had of liked the stuff, I certainly wouldn't buy it again now as they won't honour their offers! >:(

If you feel it's taking longer than expected, I'd suggest you get in touch with them, and ask if there's a problem with your application. It might just help to nudge them in the right direction.

That's what I was thinking, but I can't find any contact details for them. Does anyone have a bottle handy with a phone number on? :):)

    TA DA!

I just happen to have here...

    The promotor's address:

    First Drinks Brands Ltd
    Southampton
    SO15 0RB

You'll have to get their number from the Internet or Directory Enquiries, but they ought to be able to give you info on current turn-around times.

    Good luck! :)
