I know things have changed over the last year but have most of the problems to do with price match contracts? Just wondering if it is worth taking a chance on a straightforward cashback deal with them as they seem to have the best offers for my needs.

They're always straighforward...! Just read the feedback on both old and new t&c on the numerous threads.0

Things were bad long before pricematch.
Remember them trying to get out of paying the virgin cashback - and this offer was promoted by MSE Martin for them.
It was only after his intervention that they helped out MSE members taking the deal and that only after lots of delays.
Presumably anyone taking the deal direct from their website, and not a visitor here never got paid, thanks to their tricks regarding which bills they wanted.
Read all the problems on this forum (then search the net for other comments) before you decide.0
