n95 battery life compared to 6280

hi all its that tie of year when they wanna give me a new phone. i had a 6280 last time and have been bitterly disapointed with the battery life. anyone had the n95 after and noticed a difference?

i'm with three by the way if anyone has any suggestions of phones that have a high spec and good battery. also are they the same charger?

its not great, I have to charge every night but for what the phones gives you ( a mini laptop ) its fabulous, not sure on charger ( is the 6280 the newer mini-nokia charger ? )

also 6280---->N95 will be like moving from a old school Skoda to your dream CAR !!! it a hell of a jump

Steer clear of the bog standard n95 as the battery is poor and you will have to charge every night, I know as I had four, I know have the n85 8gb, Its brilliant 3 days battery life from medium use

I've had the 6280 and N95 (1st version, not the 8Gb) and the battery life of both sucks, although the N95 is probably worst, due to the things that it can do, in addition being used for voice calls and texts. For example, you can browse the net using WIFI, which realy drains it pretty fast.

I often charge my N95 twice a day - although you can buy longer life batteries, from ebay etc.

If you can get software upgraded to Version 20 which came out the end of November. Gives 30% extra battery life and speeds up the phone. I have noticed a vast improvement since doing this.

so is the n95 any better now its 8gb ?
