    If you kept the A/C on for one entire tank full of fuel, you will probably see 3-5mpg increase in fuel consumption. But as you probably aren't going to do this, then I doubt your pocket will even notice. ;)

    Do remember however that keeping your AC on will increase your fuel consumption.

    Not sure if this is true with a larger engine, it certainly is with a smaller one.
    I had a 2 L diesel Mondeo and actually ran it for several weeks with the aircon on then tried again with it off. I could see no difference in fuel consumption - so just left it on after that.
