And coffee, I allow myself 1 good quality cup of proper filter coffee. Would rather have that than instant, go on kids have a proper coffee today rather than instant, you know you want to.
I agree 100 per cent on the coffee, Dave, but cheap meat is far better for stews, casseroles and curries. Neck end of lamb is very cheap, and mutton (if you can obtain it!) is often even cheaper and better in slow -cooked dishes.

Meat, would rather have less and pay more. By no compromise I mean on quality, I would much prefer to always use the farm shop/butchers I trust than use supermarket meats. I still buy cheaper cuts like brisket, stewing steak etc but always from there.
Tomato soup, Heinz or nothing.
Coffee
Won't buy 'sandpaper toilet roll' but brand doesn't bother me
PJ pants for the boys (there isn't any others)
Shoes!!! I won't buy cheap shoes, sick of replacing them, just waste of money when hush puppies last loads longer.
Dried fruit pieces for the boys, expensive but would rather they had those than sweets etc
Don't buy anything that works out false economy but have managed to find most things cheaper. I won't compromise on things like foods with piles of added artificial flavours, colourings etc.One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -

I generally meant cheap processed meat products such as Value sausages that only have 30% meat. I have a good butchers near me so am when I have sausages I am likely to go there for premium sausages (BTW this butchers won an award for Britain's bes Beefburgers last year). Non Processed meat I am not so fussy about but am aware of some ethical issues such as Chickens and Danish Pork products. My mum will use beef skirt and slow cook it then use it in Steak and Kidney pies and that is really nice......0 -
For me it's perfume! Chanel No.5 is my mainstay. I can't stand copies, body sprays etc....
As for food/cleaning etc... I think I've been OS for so long that I don't even think about it now. I make virtually everything from scratch including cleaning/beauty products.

Daz and purple lenor (coz of allergies)
Washing up liquid (got to be Fairy everything else pales by comparison)
Loo rolls (triple, but always get on offer)
Shampoo/shower/handwash stuff (got to be SLS free)
OH will only have Yorkshire teabags, again I try to get them when they're on offer.
Other than that I'll always try cheaper brands and often stick with them.
Aldi's oxtail soup, for example, is delish. And Netto's brown sauce is a dream (proper brown sauce is far too vinegary for my taste!):wave:0 -

I use Liz Earle face stuff (buy it from their seconds shop on ebay to save money!) and Everyday Minerals makeup as it is great for my sensitive acne prone skin and is cheaper than some other stuff.
I hate fake leather shoes. Urgh! Make me cringe0 -
I hate cheap mince - had a lot from a local farm that was rated on here and it was awful. Full of gristle.
Like soft but own brand toilet paper.
