In my experience they often say they are genuine parts and turn up as 3rd party. I bought a brand new "genuine vauxhall" DIS pack a few weeks ago from ebay, and it turned out to be a OEM. It worked OK and I got a part refund, but like a previous poster said be REALLY sure it's a genuine part for the belt kit.
Hi ya i brought the bits i saw off ebay yesturday after emailing them and speaking to them on the phone. They said the parts are vauxhall parts Just not packaged in vauxhall boxes. Here is the links to what i purchased, Let me know what you think xx

Also had problem the other night lights drained the battery in 15 mins omg so got battery tested at quickfit yesturday and told me the battery works fine but not big enough for the car, so i went to another garage and got a new one at £61 fitted and its 440 the other one was 330 also this new battery has 4 year guarantee. Ahhhh also got a remote fob vauxhall programmed it to my car but intermittantly not locking but then will open via fob then sometimes works as it should, what is the problem? or am i just junxed when it comes to cars? lol:T This site is great! No idea if they will be genuine or not, but too late to worry about that now you have pruchased.
A genuine vauxhall battery is only abut £45 retail and it takes about 60 seconds to fit.
With they keyfob I'm not entirely sure from you description what is happening, but the first thing to do is sit in the drivers seat, with the doors shut and HOLD down the lock button on the remote for about 20 seconds. That should re-sync it I believe.
Take a mobile in the car with you just in case LOL.;)0 -

LMAO @ 60 seconds to fit the battery, C'mon Lorian this is me were talking about here lol more like 60 minutes in my case:P
Regarding the Key fob will explain a bit more clearly lol
If i lock the car with the Key itself its working much better now (since having a new key cut)
IF i lock the car with the Keyfob it works sometimes and not others, But works most of the time if im unlocking the car with the keyfobVauxhall didnt charge me to pair the fob with the car (should have been £15) to do it;) but nice man at vauxhall took pitty on me and done it for free:D ..bless him.
As for taking mobile in the car with me mmm who would i ring emergancy services? lol :P :rotfl::T This site is great! Thanks to Martin Lewis & everyone who participates and helps so many people! Without you all, where would we be ??:T

Have you tried putting a new battery in the keyfob. If it works "some of the time" this is the probable cause. Don't take it to vauxhall for a new battery, that'll be another fiver+ Try "the man who sells watch batteries down the market".0

Hi Lorian x
The cam belt kit and filter came today so will sort out to get it fitted hopefully this week sometime, Regarding the fob it was brand new from vauxhall that i got it, have tried the re setting thing bysitting in the car and locked the car from inside but tempremental doing it from outside.. Will go back to vauxhall this week too to moan lol When this did it at the garage when i brought it, they said it could possibly be something in the door locks causing this problem? weird are they just trying to get me to book it in to make money on repairs that dont need doing? you know what these main dealers are like lol:T This site is great! interesting reading this having same probs now eliminated gasket and having cam belt etc water pump fitted and some other bits also key is a pain oh joy luckily not at work at mo as on jury service and can get there by bus, though being towed out of a multstorey car park was scarey on the very tight bends to exit.I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0
