Wow!! Amazing - Thanks For Posting Eco123
  • I had this too, just tried to use it and it says has been used maximum number of times - have rang ebay and waiting for them to call me back as I purposely bought more items to take advantage of the code. (the thing my hubby wanted had free p&p!!)

You can only use it once per registered user.

Well, there's nothing I want on ebay at the moment, but it was reported to me by someone who tried to use it that it didn't work for them either!! there seems to be no indication of what it applies to or excludes on this page with the details - http://pages.ebay.co.uk/coupons/cheers1/

Hmmmmm Just re-read that and it appears to be only open to 'targetted' users!!! Schucks!

Think it pops up on everyones payment page to entice them to use Paypal. However it says its not valid on my account. In fact, not a single Paypal voucher has every been valid on my account!!! Thinks its aimed at low/infrequent users maybe?

If you find it is not working then either you don't have the offer and that's that, or you have an email problem.

It didn't work for me at first although i had the offer showing on the homepage and on the paypal payment page.

So if you find it is not working, try making sure that the email address you use for paypal is the same as that used for paypal. If they are different it won't work.

Firstly make sure you see the £5 advert on your ebay homepage when logged in. If not it won't work at all.

If you don't have the same email address on your paypal account, go to My Acount> Profile in Paypal, under Account Informatio nclick on Email - there you can check the email addresses you have registered. If your ebay one isn't there, click Add, add the email address, find the confirmation email and follow the instructions. (I had to do the confirmation number bit because I couldn't work out which password it wanted from me - i tried them all!)

There's a helpful page at http://pages.ebay.co.uk/coupons/ for the process.

Then try paying again - it worked for me!

kevinyork - that sounds like the email problem to me - check it out!
