I have just read the rules thoroughly and can't see where this is not allowed.
I used to be a member of the wls site but its now subscriber only. As this sort of surgery is now almost impossible to get on the nhs, no matter how badly it is medically needed, more and more people are having to self-fund. The wls gives details of reputable doctors in europe who have a large file of uk patients to recommend them, and their experiences. This definately comes under the heading ''moneysaving'' as the difference in costs is astronomical. So many people just go to the first clinic they see advertised and end up as cosmetic surgery nightmares, and to have somewhere to ask for personal experiences and recommendations might reduce the chance of this happening. In addition, the weight loss surgery angle is money saving in the fact that the more people that loose weight the more cash the nhs are saving in the long run!!!!!!!!
