Can Anyone Recommend A City Centre Hotel In Manchester With Parking?

Never been to Manchester before. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel in Manchester City Centre with parking. Have seen a few but the parking is in public car parks which is usually quite expensive. Would like a twin room for one evening including breakfast and parking for one night. My sis and I going shopping, eating and drinking. :)

    Are you on a budget?

If not, the Lowry has its own car parking.
    Gone ... or have I?
  • Was looking to spend about £40 max each on B&B. Didnt realise the hotels were so expensive. A lot quote room only price and breakfast goes between £11 and £18! thx.

In that case you definitely don't want the Lowry ...

I don't know of anywhere in the centre for that price where you will get parking and breakfast included x

There are several budget hotels at Salford Quays with easy tram links to the centre. The Holiday Inn Express has good car parking.
  • Thanks to all who replied. Does anyone know
    1. How long it takes in the tram links to get to the city centre
    2. What time the trams operate into the evening.
    3. how much it costs in a taxi from Salford Quays to the town centre incase we miss the last tram!
    4. How far salford quays is from the town centre.

The hotels in this area sound a better option. CHeaper and car parking. thanks.

:) all fine now - IE has been giving me trouble all week!

just wanted to add that you could have a look on www.laterooms.com to see if you can get a last minute bargain.

and if you're in the quays, have a look at the outlet mall there - it's not very big but has a few shops that are worth a look - here's the website
