What I believe to be a super Contract :)

I apologise in advance if this or a similar deal have already been discovered but I thought it was worth sharing.

If like me you spend hours, days or even weeks trawling the net, newspapers & yes sometimes even high street shops for the best value mobile contract then I think I may have just found a super deal.

After recently having some very bad dealings with a certain high street retailer (Phones "insert number" U) where they have had my phone for over 3 months out of 11 and now want £18 of me to send it back to me, I started a search for a new contract phone.

My needs aren't great as it is a 2nd phone for personal use whilst I've a business phone for week day use. So to cut a long story short, here's the deal: -

18 month contract with Vodafone
200 X-net anytime minutes
500 Text messages
Normally £30 / month (nothing special there) but as advertised on ebay you can get this deal for £20 / month fixed for the 18 months.

Today however, I got the 1st 6 months for £15 & the remaining 12 months @ £20. I also got a new Bluetooth headset which is selling on ebay for £49 & as I already have a headset, that's exactly where mine will be going for £40.

Also with it being an 18 month contract you get "Stop the clock" where you can talk for up to 1hr at evenings & weekends and only be charged for 3 minutes. However, if you still have call credit from you 200minute allocation, they use the 3 minutes from there and effectively don't charge you. Secondly, the 500 text messages can be used for SMS, MMS Video messages & even surfing the net.

3text = 1 mms
5text = 1 video message
22text = 1mb download

For those interested, the gentleman i spoke with to get all this was a Mr Quiton Smith reachable on vodafone_deals@yahoo.co.uk

I was also offered £25 for each referral but given the concept of the site, I don't think I would be allowed to ask.

If this post is in breach of any forum guidlelines, I'll fully understand if it needs to be deleted.

Good luck everyone,
