I was browsing this forum to figure exactly the same question, the simplicity deal does look fairly good because of the bolt ons

Hi I have an iphone and for receiving or sending email on the move its fantastic, in fact most things are on the iphone. I have a contract with o2 its £35 a month for 200 mins and 200 text, the surfing the web is free as the emails are. I really recommend the iphone, and I dont work or know anyone who works for o2 or apple.

The N95 is streets ahead of the iphone, in my opinion / experience. Browsing on the iphone using Safari is much more limited, than using the N95, for example, even if there is 'unlimited' browsing capacity, the iphone and browser itself will limit what you can do on the internet. And the iphone is restrained, not permitting users to add other software to it, without breaking the guarantee - unlike the N95 which readily installs extra software, making it much more user-flexible towards what you need it to do.

OK, Apple is adding some new software to the iphone, but it still sucks in my opinion, though looks nice.

The N95 drawback is that the screen is not well protected, and I have known many of them to break - of course, this is classed as accidental damage, which the network's don't want to repair, even in the guarantee period.
