bloody hell......I've got dinner cooking in the slow cookerand I think the recipe I've used is wrong.

It says 2 tbsp of vegetable bouillon and it is very salty. I think it should have been half that amount, maximum.

I've put out a 'help' on the OS board as apparently the 'chuck a potato in' doesn't actually work.

    !!!!!!.

I'm not old school Keren but i'd say take most of the liquor out if you can with a ladle and top up with water....... there should be enough residual flavour left in the contents to re-flavour the water to make it sauce-y again

Or depending on what it is, remove some of the liquor add water and add rice... make it a risotto-ey/rice-y type dinner?

    Good luck!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Does anyone else have flood sirens that go off? I think they are what used to be the air-raid sirens. Anyway, they have been going off today, and Stu says there was a wagon in the river just outside Hebden Bridge. Horrible, horrible weather.

I'm waiting for a call from CAMHS about Ryan's diagnosis but it looks like they are not going to ring. Great, another sleepless night wondering if they will ring tomorrow.

Hmmm, Yeah May seems ok right now  that's if I come back at all of course :D only kidding I have to come back. It's going to be lovely to see our house though.

Sorry keren I've no idea what to do with cooky type stuff... nope, racked my brain and I can't come up with a single sensible suggestion.

It's pee-ing down here too, but we won't have floods, stuff like that doesn't happen here.

I've just done that Maz. I've ladled it all through a slotted spoon into a bowl, thrown away the 'liquor' and then re-ladled it back into the SC and put fresh water over it. I'll see how it goes.

    It's this recipe

    http://uktv.co.uk/food/recipe/aid/514291

What a waste if that doesn't work :(

    2 tbsp my !!!! ..........

Well, it might be bread and cheese for dinner - the breadmaker has just finished.
