I just had an ordered delivered from Boots two days early. As today is one of my work days I wasn't in to collect it. The courier had something about him as he left the parcel in my shed but in order to do so he thought he should re-arrange some bits and piled loads of stuff onto the box so it was completely crushed.
There was nothing fragile in the box just baby stuff but one of the johnson lids had been broken. Also the clinique blotting pads I had ordered were missing. I rang customer services and spoke to a very nice lad who said that the clinique items were out of stock so I would not be getting them! I told him this was a ridiculous system as all other orders from other shops (john lewis etc) didn't just cancel your order without telling you and that usually if something was out of stock then it would get to you when it was back in stock! He agreed that Boots had a stupid policy on this!
As a goodwill gesture he added 1000 points onto my advantage card. :j
I did thank him and at the end of the day it's not his fault.'Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.'

Got Expert baby wipes on BOGOF £2.55 but till takes off £2.55 and 51p twice (? pc discount) so £1.53 to pay and 100 extra points voucher plus 8 normal points. 45p for 2 packs wipes! Didn't hand any other vouchers in, so must be to do with pc vucher you get scanned once and ac remembers.
Did this 6 times, 3 vouchers each on my card and oh. Checked machine again and 2 more vouchers on each!
Did you get the 100 points vouchers from the AC machine? I didn't have any new offers today when I inserted my card. one other question: did you use the 1/2 price PC voucher on wipes in a previous transaction? I tried this voucher the other day and the till beeped. I must give it one more try, as this is a really good deal.0 -

A few bits I ordered to get the total up to free delivery are still coming - typical! A lavender hand kit, lobster teether thing etc. All stuff that was available all morning. Thought I was doing really well by getting the ELC bits, and when I rang CS this morning the chap told me I should get everything ok, but it's getting to the point where I don't believe it til I unpack the box now lol
dibdab3, methinks we are in the same area, as those stores are my nearest proper size ones too (about 17m away from me) though I haven't been able to get to any of them since before Xmas, so sorry no update. Health issues with current pregnancy are keeping restricted to .com only :rotfl:

There are no hints or tips to help with this. It's Boots rubbish website. When I rang CS about this they said it was because they couldn't update it fast enough and so items were showing as in stock but when you try and get them they're out of stock.'Fear is the path to the dark side.
